On the night of the full moon, chef and farmer Hedai Offaim will collaborate with the
musician Daniela Spector for an evening of music, food, and conversation. Cafe Asif’s
kitchen and bar will serve special dishes and drinks for Tu B’Av (Jewish Valentine’s Day).

In Judaism Tu B'Av isn’t just a day of love, but also a time for reconciliation and
consolation. On this special night at Cafe Asif, chef Hedai Offaim will collaborate with the
Hebrew folk singer Daniela Spector. Together, they will examine the connection between
consolation and love, chance and fate, and how a slow approach can lead to the most
beautiful of things. While Spector performs her songs, Offaim will offer a contemporary
culinary interpretation of the day’s themes.
