Following a European tour, Ari Erev returns to perform in Israel – bringing music that tells a story, in a show that draws in the audience and creates a warm, intimate atmosphere. Erev, known as one of Israel’s most melodic and warm-toned jazz pianists, is joined in this performance by Kobi Salomon, one of the country’s top saxophonists.

This is a rich and varied concert, blending lush jazz harmonies with the vibrant rhythms of Latin music – featuring both lyrical, emotional moments and bursts of groove and energy. The program includes original compositions by Erev, jazz and Latin standards, as well as fresh interpretations of Israeli songs.

The trio includes Tal Feder, with whom Ari collaborates very frequently - on bass, and Eitan Itzcovich, who played on Ari's second album "A Handful of Changes" - on drums.

The Trio will be joined by guest saxophonist Kobi Salomon, one of the well-known saxophnists in the Israeli scene. Kobi, who spent a few years studying and playing in New York Jazz scene, has led and played with many bands and large groups both in Israel and abroad. Kobi is also the head of the jazz department at the Israeli Conservatory in Tel Aviv.

Erev has performed and recorded with leading jazz musicians in Israel and across Europe, collaborating with prominent artists in Hungary, Switzerland, Denmark, and the Czech Republic. His four albums to date have received wide acclaim, both in Israel and abroad:

לאחר סיבוב הופעות באירופה חוזר ארי ערב להופעה בארץ – מוסיקה שמספרת סיפור, מופע שמחבר את הקהל ויוצר אווירה אישית ומרגשת. ארי, הנמנה עם הפסנתרנים המלודיים ובעלי הצליל החם בסצנת הג’אז בישראל, מארח במופע זה את קובי סלומון, מבכירי הסקסופוניסטים בישראל.

זהו מופע מגוון, המשלב בין הרמוניות עשירות מעולם הג’אז לבין הקצבים התוססים של המוסיקה הלטינית. מופע שיש בו רגעים ליריים ומרגשים לצד קצב מתפרץ. כל אלה באים לידי ביטוי בקטעים מקוריים של ערב, בקטעי ג’אז ומוסיקה לטינית, ובביצועים רעננים לשירים ישראליים.

בשלישייה מנגנים: טל פדר – שמרבה לשתף פעולה עם ערב - בבס, ו-איתן איצקוביץ - שניגן באלבומו השני של ערב ("A Handful of Changes") - בתופים.

קובי סלומון, מהבולטים בין נגני הסקסופון והקלרינט בארץ מצטרף לשלישייה כאורח. קובי, שלמד וניגן מספר שנים בסצנת הג'אז הניו-יורקית, מנגן בהרכבים שונים בהובלתו, וכן הרכבי ביג בנד, כולל עם התזמורת הפילהרמונית הישראלית. סלומון הוא ראש מחלקת הג'אז בקונסרבטוריון הישראלי (:"שטריקר") בתל-אביב.

ערב הופיע והקליט עם מוסיקאי ג’אז מובילים בארץ, וכן הופיע באירופה, בשיתוף פעולה עם מוסיקאי ג’אז אירופאים נחשבים (בהונגריה, שווייץ, דנמרק וצ’כיה). ארבעת האלבומים שהקליט עד כה זכו לשבחים רבים בארץ ובחו”ל:
