The strings of Sunita’s Celitc harp and Gal’s fiddle resonate with the echoes of ancient footsteps. The music of Tzalool draws from the deep well of traditional Celtic and Jewish music yet reflects the dynamic melting pot of today’s Israel. Hints of jazz improvisation, Gypsy rhythms and even classical overtones are entwined with traditional Celtic and Jewish music.
Together, Gal and Sunita arrange their music. They started on a journey of Celtic music and have taken a path towards blending both Jewish and Celtic music. Today’s program will reflect these genres.
