After spending a decade in New York filled with creativity and accomplishments, Alon Near has returned to Israel. During his time abroad, he graced the stage at Carnegie Hall, collaborated with Grammy-winning artist Billy Childs, and performed globally as part of the Eli Degibri Quartet. His talent has earned him numerous accolades, including first place at the Rostov Jazz Competition and third place in the ISB International Bass Competition.
In this performance, Alon will showcase original material from his debut album, set to be released next year. The music reflects the connection between New York and the kibbutz where he grew up, exploring themes of joy and sorrow, as well as the bonds between individuals.
